Ontario’s largest Indigenous hockey tournament, the Little Native Hockey League (LNHL) hosted by Nipissing First Nation, has wrapped. WP was a proud sponsor and its renaissance was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

After three years, the LNHL was back in full swing. Taking place in Mississauga at the Iceland Arena, March 12-16, 2023, more than 2,400 youth ages 5-7 years-old participated. Coming from Indigenous communities across Ontario, this was an event for the record books.

Between the opening ceremonies, hosting a fantastic giveaway of three pieces from renowned sports artist Rob MacDougall (see photos below!), attending inspiring group talks, and just watching some great hockey – the WP team was in the thick of the action! It's always a fantastic time to see our clients, friends, and valued members of the community. We've compiled some of our favourite photos from the week - take a look!

A big thank you to Chief Scott McLeod of Nipissing First Nation, staff, volunteers, players, sponsors, and spectators for a very memorable event. Hope to see you next year!
